“Depth of Bhutan” tour, an immersive expedition into the soul-stirring landscapes, profound spirituality, and vibrant culture of the Kingdom of Bhutan. This meticulously designed journey takes you beyond the surface and delves deep into the heart of Bhutan, where ancient traditions meet modern aspirations, and every moment is infused with meaning and significance.

Day 1: Land at Paro Airport
Welcome to Bhutan!Druk Air’s flight to Bhutan on a sunny day is one of the most spectacular flights in the entire Himalayas. Whether you’re flying from Kathmandu over the Himalayas or over the hills of Kolkata, every flight is a fascinating experience. The journey offers beautiful views of the snow-capped Mount Everest, Makalu, and other peaks in Bhutan such as Jomolari and Jichu Drake. Once you arrive at Paro Airport and complete all immigration and customs formalities, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Paro. In the evening, stroll through the market and Paro town.

Day 2 and 3: Serene journey from Paro to Thimphu
Drive 1.5 hours from Paro to Thimphu, the capital of modern Bhutan. Take a break at Chuzom, where the Paro and Thimphu rivers meet. On the way to Thimphu, visit the oldest Simtokha Dzong, home to the school for Buddhist studies and Buddha Dodernma. Then, explore the magnificent Memorial Chorten and beautiful medieval fortress Tashichodzong. Finally, visit the Handicraft Emporium and Textile and Folklore Museum.

Day 4: Travel to Punakha from Thimphu City
Sightseeing of Thimphu city including the visitation of National library, painting school and traditional medicine institute. After lunch, steer away towards the old capital of Bhutan, Punakha through Dochula pass that provides an enchanting view with 108 chortens. Upon arriving, check into the hotel and take a break. In the evening, take a tour to the 17th century fortress Punakha Dzong and then to Khamsum Yulley Namgyel chorten. Hold a night at the hotel in Punakha.

Day 5: Punakha – Wangduephodrang – Gangtey (70 km, 3 hours)
After breakfast, take an adventure thru Wangduephodrang. Tour the outstanding Wangdue Dzong and discover the town`s neighborhood marketplace. Passing thru dense woodland of Oak and rhododendron trees lies Gangtey. Go for a walk round lovely Gangtey village and pay a go to toGangtey Gompa this is believed to be the only Nyingmapa monastery. Spend a night time at a hometsay.

Day 6: Gangtey towards Trongsa (120 km, 4 and half hours)
In the morning, explore the Phobjikha Valley, famous for its black cranes on your vacation to Bhutan Travel. After lunch, drive across the 3,300 m high Pelela Pass to Trongsa and visit the market in the evening. Hold a night at a hotel in Trongsa.

Day 7: Trongsa – Bumthang (68 km, 3 hours)
Visit Trongsa Dzong- one of the biggest masterpieces of Bhutanese structure and visit Ta Dzong. After lunch, travel directly to Bumthang and have dinner and spend the night time at a hotel.

Day 8: Bumthang-heartland of religious places
Bumthang commonly has four valleys such as Chumey, Choekhor, Tang and Ura with an altitude ranging from 2600m to 4000m. It is a home to many eminent Buddhist temples and monasteries. Get to see Tamshing Lhakhang which is known as a treasure house of fascinating Buddhist religious paintings. After that, take a safari to Jakar Dzong where all the administrative work is done. After lunchtime, visit Kurjelhakhang, one of the holy and sacred sites in Bumthang. Then, a trip to Jambay Lhakhang, an ancient temple built during the spread of Buddhism in the country. Overnight at the hotel in Bumthang.

Day 9: Bumthang (Central) to Mongar (East)
The journey continues to the east, over rugged terrain. The journey to enjoy the magnificent scenery takes about 7 hours. Drive through the village of Ura in Bumthang before climbing the Thrumshingla Pass (4,000 meters), the highest road in the kingdom. Go to Sengor to see the waterfalls along the way. The descent to 700 m ends on the bridge on Kurichu. Climb the pine forest and eastern villages to reach the city of Mongar. Visit Mongar Dzong and check into the hotel in Mongar.

Day 10: Mongar-Trashigang
This adventure of 96km takes three hours crossing Korila Pass, is characterised via way of means of a stunning chorten and a stone wall passing thru a lush woodland complete of ferns. Then, the street is going down quickly, getting into corn fields and banana timber to attain the well-known curvy roads of Yadi. Follow the Gamri River that ends in Drametsi. Day 11: Trashigang (Excursion to Trashiyangtse)
Go for a quick excursion to Trashiyangtse to visit the Gom Kora temple set on a small plateau overlooking the river. Guru Rinpoche subdued a demon on this very place. Then arrive at Doksum Village, in which you may see busy ladies weaving conventional Bhutanese merchandise and witness a chain bridge of the fifteenth century. Visit Trashiyangtse Dzong at an altitude of 1850 meters. Visit the well-known Chorten Kora and return to Trashigang in the evening. Overnight in a hotel in Trashigang.

Day 12: Return to Bumthang (289 km, 10 hours)
After the breakfast, travel back to Bumthang and lunch will be served on the way. Overnight at a hotel in Bumthang.

Day 13: Bumthang-Punakha (205 km, 6 hours)
After strolling through Bumthang market, start the journey to Punakha where lunch would be served on the way at the one of the restaurants in Trongsa town. Short break atWangduephodrang for tea and snacks, and then continue the journey to Punakha. Overnight in Punakha in a hotel.

Day 14: Punakha-Paro (125km, 4 and ½ hours)
Enjoy a leisure time in Punakha in the morning. After lunch, drive to Paro and spend a night there.

Day 15: Departure from Paro
Transfer to Paro International Airport to bid farewell to Bhutan and embark on your next journey.
